Personally I am not too worried about the 720p, it's shame but I would have made do. I won't buy this on a console (which is how I prefer to play) with only 24 players still... They'll be other new games next gen to try out instead.
and children.
You're on the wrong website then.
Cheers for the heads up Mystic Meg :)
I think the main problem is actually the changes away from the original formula. It's not going to attract people who weren't into gears, and its having trouble attracting long term fans like myself. I still play Gears 3 to this day, I don't think I really need this one yet.
I want to play it, but there is no point with the current DRM rubbish. I won't buy it until I can play it offline... If piracy allows me to do that and purchasing does not I have a feeling I will go down that avenue.
Did they not release the slim almost immediately after its announcement?
I'm looking forward to trying it out. Not sure why people argue over comparisons of Uncharted and Tomb Raider. I originally bought Uncharted because I've always loved Tomb Raider games... I was not disappointed, now I will try Tomb Raider again, I'm sure I will not be disappointed still.
Because of the N4G famous "goggles"
There is a place in my heart for Nintendo, but sadly not a place on my shelf since the Gamecube. I missd out on the Wii, and am likely to with the Wii U
I've got Doom 3 BFG on 360. I've finished every campaign on it and played a bit of MP... I can confirm there wasn't a noticable frame rate drop throughout the entire experience. The fact it was so buttery smooth made it real nice to play through again. Your frame rate dropping must have been youtube being toss when uploaded.
Knack and Destiny have caught my eye.
Garriott created the best MMORPG that ever existed and still hasn't ever been beaten to this date. He's pretty sharp when it comes to innovation, unlike most games we get fed nowadays.
From what I understand he's working on a new project at the moment, it would be foolish to not keep an eye on it.
I think it'd be relevent if providing it wasn't made half arsed. Can you imagine large scale online races through towns, kicking eachother into cars and houses? Or even a Hot Pursuit styled cops chasing down racers team based online mode?.. There is no reason this couldn't be incredible.
No wonder one pops up every year... they've got no concept of time!
Oooo, I was nodding away through a lot of your sentence and then you dropped the HL bomb!
I've been gaming about 25 years myself, and I would saddle Half Life and Bioshock with eachother above all else (maybe, just maybe excluding Silent Hill 2)... Both have brilliant dystopian outlooks which I am a sucker for, and both deliver exactly what they promised flawlessly.
I will click neither agree or disagree for a change!
Sod em' if they think that people want to pay for cheat code and charge for them that's up to them... I will boycot every single game they produce with microtransactions included. There are plenty of other good developers with huge libraries of games to choose from as an alternative. If they wanna make their games free to play, that's a different story.
*you're an idiot
Ironic lol.
I disagree, I own a lot of street fighter... I wouldn't say I'm "casual core" (I play a lot of other games), I've owned coin-op machines and almost every version across all consoles to date. My choice in game has nothing to do with it, my hours of play (which I would hate to have added up) might.
I got it on 360... It's such a lovely game.
